In any other circumstance watching the steel ingot get heated and gradually forged into a long thin needle would have been fascinating.
Knowing that they planned to jam the still hot metal into me over and over until I told there where some cache of weapons I don't even know about is, is a real enthusiasm killer.

다른 상황이었다면 쇠 주괴가 가열되어 길고 얇은 바늘로 서서히 단련되는 과정을 지켜보는 것은 분명 매혹적이었을 것이다.
하지만 그들이 내가 알지도 못하는 무기 은닉처를 말할 때까지 아직 뜨거운 그 금속을 나에게 계속해서 꽂아 넣을 계획이라는 것을 아는 순간, 모든 흥미는 사라졌다.
